Creepy coincidence

I realized about a week ago that Dan White killed himself on Scott Smith's thirty-sixth birthday (October 21, 1985). How weird is that? Probably a coincidence, but imagine being Scott - happy birthday, Scott, oh, by the way, the guy who killed your ex-boyfriend just asphyxiated himself in his estranged wife's garage. Scary.

Dan's own birthday was four days ago, by the way - he would have been sixty-three.

if there even /is/ one...

does anyone happen to have the "Milk" soundtrack? does it even exist? (i recall when "Hannibal Rising" came out two years ago, it took fans months to find the soundtrack to it before it made scarce, ominous appearances on fan forums. i fear this may be the same case, as i can't find it on any of the music sharing comms i'm on.)

if you insist on a trade, i don't mind. <3

please and thanks~

Medals Of Freedom: Obama Honors Ted Kennedy, Harvey Milk And 14 Others

WASHINGTON - President Obama today named 16 recipients of the 2009 Presidential Medal of Freedom. America's highest civilian honor, the Medal of Freedom is awarded to individuals who make an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.

Harvey Milk

Harvey Milk became the first openly gay elected official from a major city in the United States when he was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977. Milk encouraged lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) citizens to live their lives openly and believed coming out was the only way they could change society and achieve social equality. Milk, alongside San Francisco Mayor George Moscone, was shot and killed in 1978 by Dan White, a former city supervisor. Milk is revered nationally and globally as a pioneer of the LGBT civil rights movement for his exceptional leadership and dedication to equal rights.

Evil overgrown leprechaun picks on Dustin Lance Black

Perez Hilton got hold of pictures of Dustin Lance Black having unprotected sex and posted them. DLB says: "It is unfortunate that individuals and other outside parties are trying to profit from material which is clearly private. I have had the privilege to speak to people across the country, both gay and straight, on a number of critical issues including safe sex. More important than the embarrassment of this incident is the misleading message these images send. I apologize and cannot emphasize enough the importance of responsible sexual practices."

There's also a video, apparently. Both are supposed to be from 2006.

Here's my question on gay safe sex. If two guys, before having sex, get tested for AIDS and other STDs and it turns out neither of them have any diseases, is having unprotected sex okay? (Provided now they're only going to be sleeping with each other and not other people.)
